I remodeled my kitchen and bathroom 5 years ago. The design, planning and executing were on time, but their tiler was a nightmare. Two weeks after job was done, tiles in the bathroom and kitchen floor started to come off. To make a story short the bathroom tiles had been repaired 5 times and when I called last time, the owner never called back, this is after assuring me they would always be here to fix their mistakes. Grout in kitchen has also started to come off and the granite countertop had several scratches. All in all very disappointing, the only good thing were the Plain and Fancy cabinets and the help of Fran the designer. They had many excuses about why the tile is coming off ( next to the elevator etc) but other apartments in the same line had been remodeled without my many problems. Two days after I posted the review I heard from them and had a good conversation. I now hope they will fix the problems for good. If it wasn't for the tile problems it would have been a very good experience.

When I needed my kitchen redone, I visite many showrooms, and quite frankly no one would give me the time of day, since my job was less than 50k. At Broadway kitchens, they were very helpful. I picked out most things there, but they gave me the option to go elsewhere for some of my tile. They put me in touch with a place to buy applainces that gave me a great price. In terms of the job, there weren't many hiccups. When there was an issue with the construction, they explained the options well, and helped me make good choices. Overall, I'd was very happy with the finished product.

Although you might think from the Union Sq location and the smooth talking salesman, you would be in professional hands...BE WARNED. Nobody will be managing your job, weeks go by with nobody showing up, excuses excuses excuses. Our 3 week job is still not even half done and it's been over a month. Oh and last but certainly not least- you would think a place that specializes in bath and kitchen's would be able to put tile in straight. Our tiles came pre attached to mesh sheets and still were not straight. Sloppy, expensive, undependable.
