Complete padding & protection, Fine finishes, lacquers, & upholstery. Furniture is carefully padded with blankets and other items are boxed. The padded furniture & boxed items are loaded onto the truck & carefully secured so that the load does not shift during the move.

Moving Man, Inc was referred to me by neighbors. They had used them, as had their children. All I can say is it was a pleasure, instead of dread,and disbelief like our last move with another company. The estimate was accurate. The last company, gave us the lowest estimate, but then almost doubled the price at the end! The Moving Man move, was exactly as promised. Also I liked dealing with their intelligent staff. Jon, Vladimer, Steve, Eric, all educated people. I've referred many others to this company, and they all call me to thank me afterwards.

I had a big move and it was complicated with a divorce, three different homes dividing up furniture and memories and four children, three dogs, two cats, etc. between my ex-husband and I. MovingMan Inc. did seven separate relocations and installations for us. Vladimir, the estimator they sent me, was meticulous, thoughtful in taking an exact inventory of interior spaces (closets) and in suggesting appliance measuring for the new spaces they were to go into, but in fact wouldn't fit--a good thing to know in advance and something I'd never thought of. The same goes for the sofas, two of which were going into a brownstone and up flights of stairs, and again wouldn't fit and had to come through a window, which had to be removed. Who thinks of these things? I didn't! The actual moving men were old hands at their task, they worked quickly and smart, and they were well mannered. They did not complain or try to hustle me for larger tips, like the last upper East Side popular company I used, and would never use again. MovingMan, has been in business about thirty years with a solid reputation built by word of mouth, A woman in my Pilates class used them and raved about them to me. The people in their office were gracious and patient, which was good, as I had to speak to them many, many times. I can't say enough good things about this company. This was a very difficult time in our lives and MovingMan, Inc, helped us make this transition with a minimum of agitation. I am very grateful to them and recommend them highly. Also, I found out they are agents for Wheaton Van Lines, the only moving company that has earned the Good Housekeeping Seal of Approval, and I can see why. Marsha GV
